The most likely would seem to be;

Flinders
Sweeney
Clark
Liddle
Austin
Jones
Gamble
Humphreys
Monkhouse
Boyd
Bjornsson

If Collins is fit he would replace Clark, Behan will apparently be back and on the bench.

Can't get to matches and Poolsworld commentary is too uncritical to base a selection on but can I just say how excited I am about Gamble. If he is the defensive midfield player we've needed since Tommy Widdrington's injuries meant he never properly replaced Tinks then I honestly think Turner's late play-off run could be possible.

We'll benefit because a properly protected defence always plays better and attacking midfielders with confidence about what is behind them always go forward better and that means more space and chances for the strikers. All teams need a player who plays on the edge of legality, breaks up the opposition and sets the creative players off. If Gamble does that, and I think he might, we could pick up a lot of points between now and the end of the season.

Lots of ifs but I am excited and hopeful.

Looking at that post again I'm getting on my own nerves a bit, and all that optimism is based on ignorance, but I'm 90% convinced that Gamble will have huge positive impact. Having said that, I thought signing a crock like Gordon Watson was the act of a desperate mad man!

I think its going to be Humps and Gamble. Not what i would like to see but i think its the most likely. Lets be honest the best part of Humps game is nice little one touch passes setting up attacks and through balls etc. Maybe we could see a side of him we havent seen for a while? bbolt
