ok do we know who texted the show to say they had gone to london not knowing the game was off went on the lash and missed the train home

Well, it definitely wasn't me. I heard the e-mail and thought "How on Earth can that sort of thing happen in this day and age."

Well, I do have to admit that I thought whoever did it was a bit stupid.

this from a man who doesnt drink, its easly done missing trains etc if your out drinking and either sleep in or just loose track of time

Look at so called facts.

1. 4 them "drove" 250 miles to a game cancelled 2 days previously, so 4 people didn't know it was off, to far fetched IMHO

2. None of them had bought a Saturday paper and looked at football fixtures to see the game was off

3. WHY were they stuck in London ???, they had supposedly drove 250 miles and having been in London on Saturday, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES were they stuck. So a couple beers( except driver) and straight back home.

Loid, just putting Hartlepool "fan" to see if can try to embarrass Pools' supporters.

I never heard train mentioned.

just replayed it on bbc/iplayer and it was someone called FRANK and you are right bob he clearly says drove i will sack my source
