Whats he saying?
He's been playing well for Ipswich so I've heard.

He just made an absolutely outstanding save from point range.

then the ball came back in and he came out 10 yards and punched the ball to safety.

The commentators are now ranting about him.

Me thinks Mr Lee plays a lot better when the Sky cameras are there than when they're not. Or he is on steroids.

He had a decent game on the box against West Ham last year. He's played well so far though.

No doubt the winner will fly over his head from distance.

Or could it be that Pools atrocious defence last season made him look bad?

The defence had fook all to do with how often he was beaten from distance, take free kicks for example were the only way we'd fail to concede was if it missed the target or hit the bar.

It makes me laugh how people sit and say nothing to defend a player while he's here yet when he leaves his ability increases ten fold. Matty Robson and Jermaine Easter spring to mind.

He was utterly gash for us and isn't fit to put on Scott Flinders gloves!!

I used to like it when he crouched down below the wall at free-kicks.

As if to say;

"Go on mate you have a look at all my goal, it's massive isn't it? what you want me to go lower so it looks even bigger their you go mate... Go on just hit the target because theirs fooks chance I'm going to do anything about it"

I'd say that the coaching at Ipswich is much better than it was when ALB was at Hartlepool. Their goalkeeping coach is James Hollman, who I've never heard of before, but seems to be doing a good job.

To be the fair the point blank save was straight at him he didnt know to much about it.

Then again if it was when he was playing for us he'd have been going the other way

How many times did he kick the ball into touch from goal kicks.

He just couldn't kick. That was nothing to do with the defence in front of him.

I can honestly say I didn't slag him off when he was with us and he certainly looked more confident today behind the Ipswich centre backs than he did behind the Nelson/Collins combination. However he is still prone to serious errors I suspect, but Working hard for a longer contract at Portman Road. I don't remember ever seeing an ex Poolie striker score against an ex Poolie keeper on TV before. Stevie Howard looked to be ploughing a lone furrow up front for Leicester, must have reminded him of his time at the Vic!!!!

Yes it was a shit defence but that doesnt stop the guy being able to make a single save. For what its worth, as shit as the defence was, i dont think they allowed that many shots to go in on our goal. However everyone on target went in.

I still remember being slated for suggesting he was utter gash.
