Ah, how sad it is not to be understood.

Monkhouse is not a player, he's a TALISMAN. His job is not to run up and down the wing and score goals instead of James Brown, it's to sprinkle magic dust on the game so that Pools always get one or two more goals than the others.
We didn't go from an average team to a nine-wins-in-a-row-team overnight solely because of skill you know!
