The first yellow card for Hartley. What a joke. The Oldham player should be at the Olympics for that kind of diving.

It was terrible wasn't it, though not as bad as Smalley's dive to try to win a pen.

By the way Mr Gaunt, you say Hartley's first yellow? Did he get a second? I didn't see one.

See post above, I'm not sure.

I was kind of hoping it was. As neither the extended highlights or normal highlights caught the incident I'm assuming it was for a push towards the chest of the Oldham player. If that's what it's for and it's a straight red then it's a little harsh (but still technically voilent conduct and a red card, although rarely given for pushing). But I couldn't see from where I was. So I can only go from what others have told me.

Unless it was for a more serious form of voilent conduct such as a punch?

I usually have a rant about Carl Boyeson but I won't. This time I decided to have my rant before the match to several of my friends. He's clueless and if he gets fooled by dives like that when he has a good view then he shoulnd't be refereeing.

Ah that solves it.

3 games for voilent conduct banghead

Hopefully he'll learn from it just like Sweeney did vs. MK Dons.

Hartley ran back to his marker after his Tom Daley impression, and still seething gave him an Eskimo nose to nose, then intimated a headbutt, and duly Mr.Dipsh.t sent him off. Naive but he's only young, and committed.

Aye was straight red. Yeah the guy dived twice like he had been shot but both were fouls in my opinion no matter how much their faggot rolled about.
