In having a peruse of MadJohn's magnum opus to try to build a Pools team of the decade I found two players that I couldn't even tell you what they looked like.

Who or what was Gordon Simms?

Bizarrely the other played 30 games but I really had shut him out of my mind. I can't remember a single contribution from Lee Bullock. I can't even remember what he looks like. A case of the memory hiding things that cause you pain. Were he and LLewellyn the worst investments of the decade, bearing in mind that they were experienced pros on a good wage? Or was there a bigger disappointment?

Lee Bullock was 'kin hopeless. He never actually did anything then very occasionally he'd pop up with a goal. You can blame Agnew for that one though, he absolutely loved Bullock and would have taken him wherever he was in charge.

I'll never forget LLewelyn for his Adebayor style celebration down at Wrexham. What a bell-end.

What about Barry Ferguson?! Was he on loan from Coventry.

I wouldn't recognise Steve Haslam if he walked past me in the street either. confised

Simms was one that Turner brought from Wolves wasn't he? Along with Westie, Danny Hughes and Brownrigg. I think.

Craddock's half hearted attempt to retrieve the ball from going out of play one home game made my blood vessels almost burst. He was subbed almost immediately. When you're out on the pitch and that club is paying your wages you get stuck in.
I'm positive it was deliberate, as was his penalty miss at Tranmere, as was his complete and utter lack of effort for every single minute on the pitch in a Pools shirt.

I hope his legs fall off

Who was that fat bloke that kept getting a game? Defence, midfield, attack. He seemed to have some kind of photographic evidence against the powers that be which ensured he got a game.

The lad was never given a chance at Pools by either the management or the fans.

Andrew Jordan.

Now he was shite. Subbed off at half-time at Stockport after one of the single worst performances I've seen. Never seen again.
