are newcastle not looking at beckford?

But if Newcastle get Beckford would a gambling man not take Newcastle and Charlton

Leeds should still win L1 with or without Beckford.

I was hoping that Newcastle go for Beckford, they will continue with their rise back into the Premierthing, and with him completely failing at that level, they will come straight back down.

Beckford is at his highest level and is not good enough to go further as he is this would be proven if newcastle sign him

Couldn't disagree more. He'll be fine in the Championship. He got 34 last season and is more than set for a similar total this season if he stayed. Any player who can do that at League 1 level will make it the next stage up.

I'd be very surprised if he could make it in the Premiership because few players who play at this level do.
