a turkey curry, a lentil dahl, and a potato and cauliflower side dish thingy whose name I've forgotten and whose recipe I've lost. Anyone remember what goes in it?

Yep, that sounds like it, andy. I've added some of those things, and also popped in a bit of star anise, just to experiment....
