With pools away at Elland Road, which I have no intention of visiting ever again, I took my girlfriend to watch her team - Sunderland.

I have to say - I'd choose the Vic and league 1 football every time!

The game wasn't what you'd call a classic, Sunderland were very good going forward first half, Bent should be in the England squad for the world cup for sure. But they parked the bus on the 18 yard line second half, attempting to play on the counter but never really going for it when they did get the ball out of their half, and the paid for it. Everton were gash but it was just a matter of time before they scored with the amount of space and time on the ball the Sunderland players gave them.

But the main point I wanted to make was the amount of times we or people in front us had to stand up to let people past, people nipping off for a pint half was through a half or going to the loo constantly, I spent half the game looking at the backs of peoples legs.

All in all I wasn't very impressed, the stadium was no where near as impressive as I was expecting size wise and the traffic was an absolute nightmare trying to get away.

I just hope Mondays game is on - I need to be cleansed!

P.S. I know, I know, no one cares about the premiershit.

I went to the SOL last Boxing day to watch the Blackburn game. I too thought it was crap and was glad I am a L1 fan. Premiershit - you're having a laugh.
