At first i thought we would get heavily beaten today but we done well to go 1-0 up and i thought we could hold on till half time, then the referee started to control the game and make shocking decisions against us and in favour of them tw@ts.
First goal, if he gives handball against Austin for that we should have had a penalty 2 minutes before for exactly the same in their box. 2nd goal, Becchio controlled the ball by pretty much catching it and was a blatent handball but because its Leeds away they play on and carry on and they get a very lucky 2nd goal after a good header by collins which unfortunately hits litddle an goes in.
3rd goal, sweeney was blatently fouled and again referee doesnt give us the decision and Leeds go straight up the other end and score and seal the game.
Seems that Leeds are like Man Utd in the premiership in the fact they get every decision for them as the ref would rather upset the 300 away supporters than the 30,000 home fans - absolute joke!!!!!!

I didn't go to the match, because I have the Christmas family reunion near Oxford today, but from what I heard of the match, I think what happened today was one of the biggest injustices that I've ever heard 'Pools suffer.

I thought Cardiff in 2005 was bad.

I thought Colchester 4 months ago was bad.

And now today......

With the appalling referreeing decisions, I really did feel sorry for us after we had defended so valiantly in the first half hour and even took a shock lead.

I've said it a lot of times unfortunately when 'Pools are away to "big" Clubs in the League:
How did we lose that? How did they win 3-1?

This always seems to happen in games with Leeds: we work our socks, get cheated and have nothing to show for our hard work in the end.

You know, us being given referees that always seem to make bad decisions that go against us which doesn't make me look to the games that I manage to get to.

The thing which would make me go to these games would be to give enough support to the lads, because I tell you now: the refereeing in the League certainly doesn't attract me to keep going to matches at times.

If the sometimes poor standard of refereeing seems to be a reason why many fans have decided not to go as much as they did, then certainly on the evidence of today, I'm beginning to understand why they might do that.

The Football League are an absolute shambles!!!!

Or maybe they're just a better team.

Considering every single Leeds goal came from a refereeing decision and one blatant handball by Becchio he literally threw it to Beckford we would have been going in 1-0 at half time, Yes people believe it or not we defended well and the lads put everything on the line, Second half a bit shakey but there was a bit of bother with the ref at half time too.

Pool's can play well sometimes and credit to Turner he set up shop well today and made the right changes at right times.
