At the risk of puncturing the myth that we are all diabolical knuckle draggers for not turning out in greater numbers last Saturday as perpetrated by that complete phucking airhead Qwakers. Let's examine a few more realistic points:

1. We cannot deny that the gate on Saturday was poor and in the long term if it became the norm would be disasterous for the club.
2. It was the Saturday before Christmas, traditionally the day for the lowest home league gate of the season throughout the League
3. The weather in the lead up to the game was appaling and it was phucking cold. In my opinion the pitch was actually unfit
4. I travelled from BC picking up fat Phil in Darlo with great difficulty and it took me an extra hour to get home. This must have put off hundreds of supporters who are "out of towners"
5. We were playing Yeovil who brought around a hundred with them, all credit to them but Southampton virtually filled the away end on a Tuesday night the other week.

Don't get me wrong our home gates are piss poor and stay at home supporters need to think about the impact that their failure to turn up will have in the long term, however to read the rantings of that illiterate moron qwakers you would think Darlo had achieved the two Georges promised land of the championship and were filling the Elephant on a regular basis. Only a complete bone head could criticise any aspect of Hartlepool United from their position. The words "grasping at Straws" and the "last utterings of a drowning man" spring to mind.

I'm missing the carvery debates and I'm thinking that we should start a petition to get them restarted. Life enhancing questions such as is £9.99 too expensive, has the quality of gravy deteriorated and is one Yorkshire pudding enough need an answer
