Pools played a crap 1st half & only got a point instead of 3,that was disappointing
Last nights gig had a poor turn out because of the weather,that was disappointing.
I rang a friend in Boro to mention the gig last night & his missus told me he died of a heart attack last Monday (only 45 years old),the footy result & gig turn out dont seem that significant now.

Brings it all into perspective mate.

I know what you mean Tony. The 8 year old grandaughter of a Lady I work with was knocked down and killed a fortnight ago. I last saw her at work on the morning it happened, I finished for the day, said see you on Monday have a good weekend, and set off for home and then on to the Millwall match. While I was back at home later in the day celebrating the win, she would have been finding out the tragic news.

Yep,regardless of how crap the footy gets its still just the footy,for people such as Mr Billinghams colleague & my mates wife christmas is never going to be the same again.
