Then click this and download it.

http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/5092879 ... 4___serial

System retore wouldn't work. You'd just restore the same shite thats causing you a problem.

It sounds like its trying to load something that doesn't agree with it. Maybe a java application.

Boot into safe mode (press F8 at startup) then open a browser window, clear the cache, then check what add on you have loaded. If you don't recognise it then you probably don't need it so disable it.

Install CC cleaner, download it on whatever computer works then install it from a memory stick or CD.

Run that, also in safe mode.

a system restore would work, if you can get it back to the point before whatever is causing the issue, I had the same problem last week and rolled it back to before an microsoft update and it cured the problem

Sorry mon ami,

If its viral it would infect the restore files too. Check any virus fix and step one is always to disable system restore.

Being the dodgy character he is, his Windows version is probably knock off and won't update.

As a back up program a use something called second copy which is free http://centered.com/download.html
As for cleaning it up, use Avast as an antivirus and 2 programs for spyware, malwarebytes and superantispyware both free versions.
I turn off system restore it rarely does much good especially for viruses and spyware as mentioned.

Its more than likely a damaged system file which is causing your window to freeze, goto control panel when it freezes by press CTRL ALT DELETE and see which process is hogging your memory and return with your info.
