Donninger was on trial with us pre-season and didnt get a minute on the pitch. My mate works for the mags & he was saying he was very highly rated up there and he couldnt understand why they released him & why he didnt get a chance when he was with us.

I went to see the reserves last week. It was freezing, the forwards didn't have a clue what each other were doing, Foley barely got a kick on the right wing, the left back got tortured and as a result the first two goals came from his side, the goalie looked suspect and we let in a hatful of goals.

It reminded me of last season.
