Curry or Kerry.

Is it only in Hartlepool where curry is pronounced with an 'e'. I ordered some timber for work and when asked where to the delivery address was, I told the bloke eventually it was behind the old Mr Chris place, ..."it's called Kerry Foods now" I said to be helpful... Timber arrived this morning and when the driver had finished craning it off, he asked me to sign the delivery note.....'behind curry foods' it said. :laugh:
