When there's a group of 10 blokes, all called Bob. And they all have a 50p piece each.

We used to play for ten pence pieces, I was forever losing my dinner money and bus fare home.
A bag of scraps with curry and a long walk home!!!
My ten year old daughter loves a game, we are forever raiding the copper jar and even she agrees it beats the nintendo wii!!!

I'm 23, went to Manor and live on the Fens. The likelihood is we'll be aware of each other Mr Compo. And yes, mott was a massive part of my childhood. We played for quids though, posh us Fensies.

I'll see yer Mott, and raise you 'Troll', the infectious marble game played by creating a hole by swiveling round on one's heel, then taking turns to pitch yer alleys into said hole. Best played with 'luckies' or 'sticky bonkers' of a playtime.

I recall kids walking round school with git huge bags full of the alleys they'd won. 'Appy days! clappp
