Dumb and dumber comes to mind.......... some people labour under the lunatic illusion there's a queue of bidders just dying to push boring old IOR out of the way so they can move in and spray the place with millions ...care in the community eh?

I wouldn't say that IOR have taken us as far as they can....but they might have taken us as far as they are prepared to. There is a world of differance in those two statements.

They have taken us as far as our support has allowed them to.
They have got us 2 divisions above where we were heading when they arrived,and most importantly these days they are keeping us healthy off the field.

I can't believe that some people think if IOR leave it would be a good thing

They've give us 12 years of sercurity on at times very poor fan base. Where do people think the money comes from if you don't get the crowds

You only have to look at Swindon, Stockport, Rotherham, Bournmouth, Southend and that small club down the road, to see what could happen if a clubs run wrong

I say well done IOR and keep up the good work

If IOR had not arrived when they did, Pools would be in a similar position to the likes of Halifax, York and Barrow or possibly even Scarborough.

Completely agree re IOR. People forget how far the club has progressed under the company's ownership. Put it this way, if we stay up this season, which I'm pretty sure we will with some comfort, I'm sure it will represent the longest spell we've ever had in the third tier of English football (I am happy for someone to correct me if this is not the case).

We need to establish ourselves as a good, solid league 1 club that has put league 2 behind us. Absolutely no disrespect to league 2 but if IOR are ever going to decide to try and push us on to the next level then we need to demonstrate that we are not simply going to fluctuate between leagues 1 and 2 on a regular basis.

But isnt it only one or two people who are saying that rather than all the people on Into The Blue???

For example:

1. No IOR no Hartlepool United. Fact.

2. Pooliedazza are you having a laugh or what? Chunky is spot on with his comment, IOR have not done anything to the atmosphere of games, times change, thats all that has happened, IOR are the best thing to happen to our club and probably will always BE the best thing to happen to us. I hope they stay forever, alot of other teams would give for backing that IOR bring, long live IOR

3. 1 league above? im guessing you think we should be in the top 4 of the premier league by now? im happy being in league 1, we had stability with IOR and should be thankful for that.

4. I'm more than happy with IOR. They don't have to fund us.

5. I'd rather have them than some of the owners in the league. A bottomless pit of a board who don't interfere compared to someone like Barry Fry?

7. what a load of fucking bollocks. Whats all this moving forward shite. with ANY other owners (barring a billionaire) we would be a mid table league 2 team. With IOR we HAVE moved forwards and are about as good as we are going to get....top half of league 1.

I know things seem a bit stale at the moment & the clubs just treading water,but we have to look at the bigger picture,we are 9th in League One,5 league games unbeaten.
After last 2 seasons we can't really complain.
