I actually think that the photo is quite sad. Feethams may have been a dump but its still a bit sad to see. It at least had a good atmosphere on derby days

This is what happens when a club gets owned by someone who makes Gary Gibson look like Mother Teresa.

Aye. The perfect illustration of what one man's insanity can do to a football club.

I believe the land has been sold for housing, or that's the last I heard anyway.

many a battle fought on and off the pitch at that ground by Poolies and Darloids alike. There are no memories of a visit to their new ground apart from our only visit there - however there are so many memories of Feethams and any future derby days at Darlo will never, ever be the same again.

Any right minded person will agree we should never have left the place. I can understand why Reynolds wanted his own ground though since the cricket club were hardly the best of landlords. Its all been downhill since because despite how good the arena is, its about 2 times too big for any club outside the championship. We may take the piss out of your bus shelters but its adequate for your needs & would be ideal for us.
