What a 'lovely lovely person'.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/footba ... eague.html

Who the fuck does the chairman of Bolton Wanderers actually think he is? A 'closed Premiership'!!?! Bollocks the tradition the football league, bollocks the majority of the 92 league clubs we'll look after ourselves. Are Bolton Wanderers even one of 40 biggest clubs in the country!? I can name five bigger in our division....

If this ever happens where would it leave football in this country, where would it leave Pools??

I hope his cock gets eaten off by rabid ants and he gets sent to jail for fraud and is bummed by big black men in boots getting their money's worth out of him.

Are the boots necessary?

They're not mandatory, but would be useful for kicking him when they'd finished splitting his ring up his back.

And Lancastrian and therefore a sheep shagger, a tripe eater, a dog bummer and a paedophilic terrorist who drinks cider in public, wears a hoodie, smokes tabs, doesn't tax or insure his car, drives fast, puts the wrong shit in the wrong bin, leathers burglars, calls brown bretheren 'paki's' and plays his stereo too loud.

That should attract the attention of the local firearms squad.......

let em get on with it, sounds like a great idea. As long as every player gives up the right to play international football, the FA and League Cups etc. It will end up as a Euro league, it will turn into a circus and price itself out of contention.
And then call the Championship 'Division 1'

Association Football could be the winner in the long run.

And do it quick with the teams that are in the premiership now.
So I can laugh at those 'championship and league one clubs' who think they deserve to be elsewhere.

I quite like the idea of going back to Divisions 1234
feck em

Whether this happens now or happens in 5 years time, one thing is certain is that it will happen, all this 39 game stuff, 2 tier leagues.

There will be another break away within the next few years, bit like in 92 when the premier leauge was formed.

Chip is right who the fleck do bolton think they are, when they come on match of the day people turn off, no one in the premier cares about them, they stayed up under allerdyce playing anit-football.

Idiots.

Point is there's nothing in this for the likes of Manure/Chelski - what they want is an elite European League and leave the Premiership. Who would they rather play at the weekend Barcelona or Bolton? They'll think (or their owners will) why should the super rich subsidise a second string Premiership division?

It would be lot better if the ch unts at the top fooked off into the European super league leaving twats like Bolton behind then the boot would be on the other foot...

Bolton are just scared that they could a Leeds, Southhampton or a Norwich in the near future ..I for one hope they do.

Just a form of blatant greed by these clubs. The chairmen know they won't be around for that long and that their clubs will ultimately descend to the lower leagues. They just want to 'milk' the system to maximise their own wealth then get out. They care not for the clubs or the supporters, as Edward Heath once said "the unacceptable face of capitalism".

If this is accepted there should be an orchestrated campaign by the people of this country to stop putting money into it - abandon sky sports and the patronage of any of these clubs. It's a disgrace that they could even consider this plan, all those years of the English league thrown out in the name of making more money. Nine out of ten games in the Premiershit are garbage and not worth watching anyway. People should stop buying replica shirts and start watching grassroots football instead...

Let them go - and we can get back to proper football, there will be teams that go bust in the two tier premiership before we do.

We can have proper football with sliding tackles and no diving. We will have terraces, changes of ends and hopefully cheap prices, we can have desire and pride and local players. We can have proper pies and shitty burgers, Bovril that's too hot and undercooked chips. We can have games that matter like Bury away not Bolton v Newcastle zzzzzzz

You sound like Loid trying to pretend that they won't be bothered when the time comes (Christmas) and relegation is confirmed.

Make no mistake if this ever happened it would be the death of the football league, what would be the point for the clubs who didn't make 'The Premierships'?? The magic of supporting any club is the thought 'one day you never know we might just make it'. Realistically that top level for us is the Championship, this would completely destroy any notion of this as the football pyramid that this country is famed for would be gone.

Honestly this total and utter 'lovely lovely person' should be hounded out he game or at least be rounded up with Stan Collymore and they should be be forced be have half time bum sex with each other on every lower division centre circle.

We had something like this in the late 80's when they were discussing the way the tv money was split.
At the time the old first and second divisions got 75% with the remainder going to the bottom two divisions.
A certain bunch of wanabe clubs wanted to change that to 80 - 20.
Strangely two of the most voiciferous clubs were Crystal Palace and Oldham who, at the time, were either in the first division of somewhere near the top of the second.
I don't know how that split of money ended up but it certainly didn't do Oldham any good.
What made it all the worse was that, in the early 60's, when I started getting interested in football, Pools seemed to be regularly playing teams like Oldham, Bradford city Wrexham etc. yet here they were, having a little bit of success and trying to screw the likes of us just to protect their new found status.
I hope Bolton, and clubs like them, get everything they deserve.

What the thick c*** fails to realise is that Sky wont stop there. It will be OK for a few years, but most people at Sky, and the premiershit are already boed of Bolton and the likes.

Give it five years and sky will propose a new premiershit including the big clubs of Europe, and it wont include Gartsides club

What a thick foookin tool he is.

I honestly hope he dies a very painful death. Horrible horrible c u n t.

That's kind of my argument - Gartside and the like won't be around by then, they will have taken the money and run, feathering their own nests.

The PL will be nothing when the big clubs breakaway and form their own European Superleague with the top Euro sides.
