It seems to me like the players and management have that excuse every home game. Austin on cleveland last night saying it does affect some players, turner complaining about it and larkin on sat. This happens at every football ground and is part and parcel of football, home fans always complain when things are not going right, this must happen at every ground surely. What do they expect from the fans, its frustrating when we are losing to teams like Kettering and in my opinion apart from the Burnley game, not one other home game has been entertaining and certainly not worth the 18 quid we have to pay to get in! Walsall was a good win but the football was not greatly exciting, walsall were just sh1te on the day. What im trying to get at is the lack of entertainment, when cooper was here or the first reign on turner the football was enjoyable to watch and if you lost at least it was usually a good game, but at the minute i go to each game with no optimism expecting to be board for 90 mins. Also i dont really hear that much complaining from the crowd where i stand in the town end so where is all this apparent negativity coming from??!

There were never any complaints about the crowd last season from turner because that was Wilsons team, but now its Turners team his attitude seems to have changed! Believe me the longer this poor home form goes on the worse it will get. I think a lot of people are complaining so it will push turner out the door or back upstairs. I generally have a lot of time for CT but i still dont want him in charge, id love to get an aidy boothroyd type up here.

you have a go at not being entertained and then say you want boothroyd up here your a joke aside from his terrible style of play and filling the team with six foot cloggers he would be off at the 1st sign of a bigger club. It is the crowds fault at home people who have never been away jumping on people at the first sign of doing things wrong look at the loan players our crowd have cast off as useless Neil Danns a good championship player when he was here got dogs abuse Joel when he 1st came got slaughtered and Adam Boyd this lad should be a legend from the town cares about the club super talented oh no all people want to do is slag him coz he is lazy. hes not he is just not fast. its our crowd that need to have look at themselves no one will critise tony sweeney the most pathetic player every to wear a pools shirt since 2000 but colin larkin was getting stick off the crowd at kettering when he was our best player no wonder he slagged the crowd off afterwards. look how turner has turned the team around stronger in every position and in the top half of the league and first sign of difficulty all the daft lads are callling for the managers head. i seems to remember our best two results/ performances were against walsall with the singing section and Burnely were the crowd really got behind the players like the old friday night games

you can all ignore this anyway coz i am not part of the Bunker Ellite and dont hate Chip and play your gay games but perhaps if you went away and got behind the team you might realise we are 11th in the league and much bettter off than under that clown wilson

You talk about getting behind the team then call Tony Sweeney pathetic in same post!! You also talk about the bunker as if it's this message boards fault that the Vic is as flat as witches tit during games.... hang on wasn't it people from the message boards and wasn't it the spreading of the word on message boards that got the singing section in place in the first place?? The crowd responded against Burnley because the game was entertaining and we were playing some excellent enterprising football it's a two way thing and to date that is the only decent game I've seen at the Vic this season....

Also the people who vent their spleen at players during the match aren't necessarily the people who criticises individual players on here (like you for example calling one of longest serving players pathetic). I personally never verbally barrack players.. what's the point it's totally counter productive, when a player comes over to near where I sit I will always try to encourage them. That doesn't mean I'm not going to analyse the performance afterwards, so far this season my season ticket hasn't been value for money in terms of the entertainment on show no matter what our league position is.

As for the 'Bunker elite' rolfl rolfl

I used Tony Sweeney as a barrometer to show how stupid some of our fans are. Just coz he is long serving and claps the crowd doesnt mean he is good i read that someone didnt rate Willie Boland coz he never clapped the crowd and was glad he had retired. What I am saying is you need to look at why your not coz clearly the players cannot express themselves without a huge sigh going up for a miss placed pass when the idea is clearly correct. Address some of the other points in my post then. Clearly touched a nerve about the Bunker ellite as this is my only post ever to generate a response it must be true i am all for analysis but you never get any on here. Its all doom and gloom and Turner out if Turner is the only one who IOR will trust then i am all for it. People have short memories Turner built this club up to what it is today with IOR and its a relationship people site failure at Sheff Wed and Stockport without knowing the full facts which i certainly dont and i dont back him blindly but to me he is our manager and deserves a chancde whilst the team is not in the relegation zone. is it reallly a suprise to see teams targeting points here when we have the lowest average atttendances at home.

Maybe i am talking to the wrong people but with everyone behind the club surely we stand a better chance than with many fans against the Manager without giving him a chance

Look at his record at pools since he left Stockport. Also include the disastrous spell when Stevo was caretaker.
And you wonder why people are on his back.

Same here. I criticise players on here but when you do so you are looked at like you are the devil. It's a messageboard and if people are criticising constructively then I see no problem with it.

When you do it at the game it is something different entirely, as the original poster points out abusive crowds have had a negative effect on players who have turned out to be decent and Howard, Danns, Easter, Porter and Robson (so far at Carlisle) have proved that with some proper support they have some fantastic ability between them.

Confidence is a massive thing as a footballer and knocking someone while they're down is extremely unproductive and fairly idiotic.

When i said aidy boothroyd it was merely an example, i was suggesting we got someone with different ideas who is young and hungry and not sitting in the easiest of comfort zones which CT finds himself in. It would appear that CT has very little pressure on him from the board, so he can pretty much do what he wants and never face the consequences. I would expect a football manager to thrive on the pressure not just mosey on day to day complaining about how the crowd called a player a poohead and it affected the entire performance. Fair enough we are ok in the league at the moment but thats not what im complaining about, im just a bit fed up with the lack of excitement on the pitch and how generally dull the football has been so far. By the way, hasnt boothroyd started very well!!
