It's just a shame that Pools don't appear to this season. sadx

Fair play to Kettering, losing games like this make us appreciate it even more when we knock out a team from a higher league and it's what cup competitions are all about.

BUT...

Whole day was shite from start to finish. Turned up about quarter to three and had to stand in a queue of only about 30 people til pretty much 3pm. If the retard on the turnstile was letting in more than 2 people per minute I'll be amazed. Chaos trying to get into a game with a sub 3,000 crowd? Fking well done Pools.

Then I wanted to buy a programme seeing as though they were for charity but there was no fker selling them on the Millhouse side.

And then the match? Fk me we were bad. The team as a whole were bad but some were more culpable than others. Behan? Bogtrot yourself back off to a Ireland and pick spuds. Monkhouse? I would have paid to strap one of the fireworks at Seaton to your arse last night you cnt. Sweeney? Just fk off son eh?

Marks out of 10? Fkin difficult.

Flinders- 7
Austin- 6
Hartley- 5
Collins- 6
Liddle- 7
Larkin- 6
Monkhouse- 0
Humphreys- 6
Sweeney- 0
Behan- 0
Boyd- 4

Boydy was pretty much playing up front on his own and he's not suited to it. He also works well setting stuff up for a midfielder to run on to but Sweeney and Monkhouse were having a "who can be the laziest" competition. At first I thought Behan was involved in their contest too, but I soon realised that he is just a dogshit waste of a shirt.

Jones was probably our brightest light when he came on, but what kind of halfwit of a manager takes off two forwards for a youth teamer and a midfielder when he's losing at home? Patience? Thin? I think so with this fker.

I'm over the moon that I can't make next week's game and even though I've already made plans to go to Huddersfield so will definitely be attending I can't say that I'm looking forward to it.

At least not scraping an equaliser yesterday saves us the chew of watching us get dicked in a replay and means we can have a legitimate day off at the end of the month instead of some of the lazy bastad players just deciding to take one cos they think they're better than they bastad well are.

Any positive aspects of yesterday that can be pointed out will be gratefully received.

I feel sorry for Sweeney his first touch has gone completely. Every time he takes a touch he gets tackled, I struggle to see what he offers the team and am baffled how he is being selected. It's a shame but what has happened to him?

Sweeney has had 1 good season i'd say.

He's been living off that for 4 years now.

Sweeney has been rubbish for years - stick him at right back if Austin / Haslam are injured or sell him to Gatehead or Spennymoor if that isn't above his level....

Bang on Mr F, and that's why we lost to a non-league team. We can't afford to effectively play with 8 men but with Behan, Sweeney and Monkhouse on Saturday that's exactly what we were doing.

I'm not in love with any of them.

You should try watching the game without a vendetta against some of our players.

No vendetta at all. I have always praised behan but he was woefully bad on saturday and I actually found myself booing him at one point (then felt pretty disgusted with myself :uhoh: ). I rate players on how they perform on the day, not out of my love for them. Ritchie was terrible on Saturday and for you to give him a 6 is crazy especially since Sweeney got a 0. Both of them were shambolic. (They obviously werent the only ones like). Boydy too was shocking.

As usual it was the same players who did 'ok' - Austin, Collins, Liddle (and Jones when he come on). Hartley had a few really good long range shots but was poor for the most part and was as guilty as anyone else for giving the ball away.

No vendetta?

You're having a laugh.

And I noticed how you were unable to answer on the other thread where I pointed out why Humphreys wasn't culpable in the same way as Sweeney, Monkhouse etc.

I've got a sneaking suspicion that you were always last pick at school.

I wasnt able to respond because I did think Ritchie was every bit as culpable as Sweeney and Monkhouse - they were all terrible. Again I have always defended Monky and think he is a talented player but on Saturday he was dreadful. I dont have vendettas but it irritates me when people stick up for players when they have a really bad game as Ritchie did just because they like them. Ritchie got more of the ball but his distribution was terrible. Sweeney 'hid'. Both deserve dropping.

Bingo, you slate him for exactly what I was telling you wasn't his fault, i.e. the fact that the supposed attacking players were too static to give anybody the chance to make effective passes. stpid

But I think he was just guilty of sloppy passes!! I dont agree that the lack of movement was to blame. If a 'pass' was not on then he should not have tried it. Its for Turner to alter the tactics if we are getting no space. To make a pass to a player who is 'static' such as Boydy and Behan who are marked heavily is not the answer. Ritchie does not have the ability to keep the ball if there is no pass available which is one of his main problems, he hasnt got a chance of turning an opposition player for example. He was way off the pace against a non-league team imo and was no better than Monky or Sweeney.

If you are blaming the static players for Ritchie struggling to find a pass then surely the other players who got low scores are being harshly penalised too, as they too will have had little option with the ball. A 0 for Sweeney and a 6 for Ritchie is madness. They were both rubbish

As said before, some players could do fuck all right and still get a good mark because the fans simply wont see them fuck up everytime they have the ball like Sir Richie did. They just blank it out.

The fact a player with Richies experience can get made to look so so shite off a bunch of cloggers should make him feel ashamed.

Personally id have given Humps, Behan, Sweens, Boyd and Monk all 0s. Behan was utter shite but I dont remember Boyd ever actually doing anything right all game.

Soneone once said that some people would vote for Humphreys in a bonnie baby contest - even if he hadn't entered. Never a truer word spoken.

Humphreys divides opinion; there's those who won't see any wrong in him, and then theres the realists.
