Now don't take the piss but i thought he would have been a better sub to bring on today, Larkin had there defence terrified when he ran at them and i dont think they could have handled Foley running direct at them. I have been told that Turner is a big fan of the way Colchester play, the high ball in the box with there big strikers causing problems but we havn't got them type strikers and it was far to easy for there centre halfs, I know it is maybe a step backwards but i just think Baby David might have caused a few more problems.

I agree. In fact I would go as far to say anyone in the meagre crowd could have caused them problems, especially against their 40 year old full back.

Give baby david a chance. He cant be any worse than foooking Behan banghead

This post is a definite wind up,isn't it, or it is in my opinion.

Foley is not and will not be a league 1 side player, maybe the right decision would have been to put Fredriksen on to run at them when the 2 forwards were subbed.

But I can't believe anyone thinks Foley would have given us anything yesterday. And that's taking into account we were playing a side from the conference.

Based on what ????????

A superb scoring record of 7 goals in a 104 games including sub appeareances.

With a strike rate like that Real Madrid , Chelsea, Man U and Barcelona will be attempting to break the transfer record to sign him in January.

I agree his pace would have caused them problems yesterday. It's a shame Fetish Bob is having a bit of a thick day.

Look I had a lot to drink yesterday and am somewhat hungover today, but in this thread are some people suggesting playing David Foley or am I hallucinating?

His pace would have caused them problems. Pace only causes any teams problems if the player with the pace can actually do something with the F****** ball at the same time.

Lets sign Usain Bolt and put him through the middle, bet his pace would cause loads of problems to centre backs in League 1.

Only one person ran at them yesterday and that was Larkin and he terrified them, Boyd or Beehan never did it so to me Foley would have scared the shit out of them if he was chucked on in the last 20 min against tired legs. Larkin skinned one of there lads in the box and he took a mighty swipe at him and missed or it would have been a penalty, if there was a bit of pace running in the box with the ball it would have caused problems

So we didnt actually need pace we needed slower players to run at them, then instead of the defender missing him he may have caught him rolfl rolfl rolfl And we would have got a penalty. Rhetorical post.

Out of all the players from the ressie game on Wednesday Foley was the best carried the ball well down the flanks till he lost it but he should have been on the bench before BillyG.
