What an absolute disgrace.

Kettering were utter shite but somehow like most shite sides, they manage to beat us.

Once again no football played, long high balls, no ideas, no creativity, a central midfield who may as well not be there and the worst performance from two strikers iv ever seen in my entire life.

Bright points-Jones looked sharp when he came on, shame he was shoved on right wing. Larkin first half was lively and Liddle in another good display but not sure whose man it was who was left totally free for the goal.

Boyd and Behan were woeful. If I was giving player ratings id seriously give them both a zero. Never seen anything that bad for a long long time and hope I never do again.

Turner please fuck off!

We seem to get these so-called easy draws against clubs at home and Turner says that we're going to treat them with the utmost respect.

Have we listened after Morecambe and Grimsby? No.

What's even more frustrating was we battered them according to what I heard, apart from the time the goal went in.

A good performance, but a disappointing result.

It's a good thing we're doing well in the League, because otherwise if we'd been doing poorly in the League, Turner could have been in real trouble.

According to what 't find I heard, we had chance after chance but just couldn't find the killer touch in the final third.

How many times have we heard "final third" mentioned in games?

Behan gets his shirt every week and he is garbage.

I think it's only fair to give them some credit. They'd done their homework on us and grafted for 90+ minutes. They took their chance and ground out the result. Good luck to them. Their fans were excellent too!

I don't agree with that. They didn't play well and we should have murdered them.

I didn't say they played well. I said they deserve credit for doing their homework on us and beating a team with far more resources and who are currently operating at a much higher level.

We should have murdered them but we didn't.

How did they 'do their homework' though? I just can't see it

If their sole gameplan was to keep it tight for the 15 minutes (which they didn't do) then that isn't much that can't be easily exploited IMO and I still don't think they played well

...and I don't think they played well either as previously stated. They didn't play well, but they frustrated us which I think they deserve credit for.

sadx sadx We just happened to play to their strengths. Our plan was to get the ball wide and rain crosses into their penalty area. Where our plan failed was the fact that we had nobody in their penalty area capable of getting on the end of crosses. Their centre backs must have sore heads today. The best challenge on either of their centre backs was when they clashed with each other.
We didn't defend the back post for their goal and their guy just picked out the striker and bullseye.
I have said my piece weeks ago on our current management team and people told me to have patience......to wait for the "gelling" to occur.
We signed five new strikers. How many home goals have our strikers scored in all competitions????
Boyd and Behan looked as if they had just met each other yesterday. Larkin had a decent first half but faded badly. It looks as if the Iceman and Freddie have quickly faded out of the picture. Rowell can't even get into the picture.
I'll leave Greulich out of the criticism due to his age and lack of experience.
My advice to CT is get back to your day job mate before you lose any credibility you ever had.
The majority of Pools supporters only attend home matches so they must be as sick as the proverbial parrot at our home performances. sadx sadx

Agree - Turner is doing a "Scott" in turning a good squad of players into a bad one. His home record is diabolical beyond belief, and I can't stomach any more games like that at the Vic. We are at home and we do not create chances, despite what Fatty Turner says
