Referee has just booked Fletcher for diving despite it being a nailed on penalty.

I wonder if Fergie will say something about the ref tonight. rolfl

He's a fooking idiot.
Manure where all over them for 43 minutes, I can't comment on the first half because I didn't watch the first half but I don't even remember a CSKA shot after their third goal.

Yeah, but I think CSKA looked a much classier outfit to be honest. One of their goals was really good.

Man United shouldn't be 3-1 down at home in the Champions League group stage.

Why? They don't have a divine right you know!

Plus whiskey nose picked virtually the reserves and Gary Neville out of sympathy (it must be because surely he can see he's finished).

I know, I agree. They don't have a divine right.

Notice how Man United always have these "dodgy" performances and games when Fergie doesn't pick "the 1st team".

Well, it's not exactly the best of preparation ready for the big game against Chelsea, is it?

Whatever you say Mr Snowy is not going to go all Andy Gray on you and start discussing tactics for Man United v Chelsea game, as a) He has told you that he doesn't give a fook; and b) He doesn't give a fook.

Hope this helps.

I care even less about their 'prearation' for the 'big game' ...the only big game you should be worried about is the game against Kettering. Now stop talking Premiershite and concentrate on real footy.

Maybe some people couldnt give a fuck about the threads you put on like, like your bunker or whatever it is, so what they do is they just ignore it and don't post on that thread.

Why don't you do the same?

Uefa and fifa will bury their heads in the sand ( as usual) by ignoring blatant miscarriages of justice ( in footballing terms of course) and yet will allow other incidents, missed or ignored by the officials such as fouls, to be judged upon using video evidence after the event.
If the referee makes a mistake he makes a mistake. Either accept it and move on or allow scrutiny of every mistake or none at all.
Why is it that everybody and his dog can scrutinize video evidence, except the referee, fourth/video official at the time. Doesn't seem right to me.
A lot of cheating, diving, bad decisions could be sorted out if the official was allowed "another look". It happens in other sports, why not football?
At least give it a trial period.

agree completely Derwent.

If someone has been punished in some way (yellow/red card) then they should have the right to appeal. After all if Uefa uphold the decision, they could always ban the player for a frivolous appeal or something. That would stop clubs appealing for the sake of appealing.

No it,s not a long time since they were "getting beat" at home in Europe, its a long time since they GOT BEAT AT HOME IN EUROPE. There's a big difference.

Prior to last night, the last time they were "getting beat" at home as you put it, was the previous game, so they been behind the last 2 home games in Europe, granted they won them. But they were behind to Wolfsburg (30/09/09) in their previous home Champions league game, for about 5 minutes, Wolfsburg took the lead just after half time.

I do keep saying think before you post mate, there's another example of you not doing it.

No, that will be Snowy, in his Bunker/Shed, he's got somewhere to go now, to do it without interruption.

It's OK, he's gone for a month, so won't see this.
