The Bunker has been quiet, so I thought I'd make a few points on todays games.

"Satisfied, a hard earned point.
Great game.
We got 6 goals, every player giving everything, - but thats the kind of thing good football is about.
Its another game away from home where we've not lost, which is good."

I wasn't at the game but have it on good authority that this is a fair reflection.

Good result - I think most people would probably of settled for a draw before kick off. We have had a decent start, we are closer to the play offs than the bottom four which no one can really complain about. We have some tough games in November, hopefully we can push on and start putting in performances at the vic.

Lets hope next week isn't a banana skin...

The worst view I have ever experienced in football. The goal we were nearest to was where the half way line would be at a football ground. For those of us who require visits to Timlin's Optotometrirists the far goal was almost invisible.

Both teams were very, very poor. After the second Brighton goal I had to check that we had not re-signed last season's back four on loan. All defenders running as one to the ball. Pitiful.

A very bright finish to the first half against a very poor Brighton side. A second half under the cosh.

I would love to report a heroic escape but it wasn't. Brighton will be relegated.

I love what Adam Boyd brings to the team in terms of skill but if he has ever had a more listless, disinterested game since he returned on loan from Boston United then I haven't seen it.

We will need to be 50% better than we were yesterday to pick up points against anyone else.

The only real plus that I would take from the game was the performance of Ritchie Jones.

Have Somali pirates kidnapped Fetish Bob? I haven't been at a game for years where he wasn't in attendance.

after last season I vowed never to go back to the Withdean ever again. It was my fourth visit, and definitely my last. At least the first time we went there (a 1-0 defeat, surprise surprise) we were in the little covered stand on the side and quite close to the action on the pitch. Since then we've been stuck behind one of the two goals and miles away from the pitch, uncovered and no atmosphere. It makes no difference how many we would take to that place, the team never wins there anyway and it's the worst ever match day experience I've ever known.
The little non league grounds on FA Cup days are far superior

You lads were dead right when you warned me what to expect from the Brighton "experience".
What a dump.
I'd write a match report, but I wasn't near enough to the action !!!!!!!!!!
One thing I will say though......the referee was an utter shambles.
Brighton play a multi ball game and when the throw is theirs the ball boys throw the ball at least twenty yards up the pitch. Not spotted by the ref until the dying throes of the game when they tried to take a throw from near our corner flag.................the ball had gone out on the half way line!!!!!!!
We were carved open for their second goal........their first was scrappy and should have been prevented............their third was scored over three miles away, as were all ours, so can't give much of an opinion on them.......sorry.
I'll take the point though, especially after Mr Parmo's predictions..............keeps our unbeaten run going.
Glad I've got that one out of the way.

I think the real plus it that yet again we went away from home and came back with something to show from it. That's 12 points away from home now, do you know at what time of last season we went past that number of away points? I'll tell you! It was Ben Clark's late penalty at Swindon at the back end of February.Chipping away with points away from home will keep us away from the brown stuff.

Also Brighton might stay up, they've just sacked Russell Slade, is not beating us a sackable offence!?

You are right PJ......anything gained away from home is a plus.

Maybe that'll be the 2011/2012 season

I'm moderately hopeful for 2010/11.
