redditch as they are in a lower division than kettering. But it makes no difference as we 'should' beat either of them

Kettering have had many Cup games in the past and stuff, so for that reason it would be good for Redditch to enjoy some limelight for once in their history.

I still couldn't care less.

If we were to lose to either of them it would be a sad indictment of our current team.

I thought we'd never played either of them?? That gadgie who was managing Tamworth when Scooty put the youth team in and we lost to them in the cup is now with Kettering so it'd be good if someone could give him a wet leg at some stage if he gets through. Or photograph him with his knob in a sock on the team coach. :grin:

Brackstone, Craddock, half of the back line were, when we had Mickey Barron and Ben Clark on the bench. The Tamworth manager said at the time that he was rubbing his hands when he saw the youth in our team.

Istead and McDonald weren't exactly pensioners either.

Little black striker we had on loan from Ipswich. Dean was it? Didnt we offer some money for him, they turned us down and then released him a few weeks later?

Always thought he looked quite decent but guessing he in lower leagues so must have been wrong.

Also wasnt Brackstone our first choice left back that season? And as for youth???? I dare say our last line up is younger than that.

But the team was virtually identical to the one that won at Bradford the week before. Micky Barron had just come back from a long term injury too.

Point is we lost to Tamworth and their manager said he thought it was because of the young players in our team. He said they were easily bullied. They're not my words so perhaps you can take it up with him when he brings Kettering for another pop at us. :grin:
