Well it is 500 miles round trip. Just have to say what a great match & a wonderful time. Everyone played well - I've long been a Mickey Barron fan and think he organises the team on the field when he plays. James Brown was superb - I've not seen him play with such skill or confidence before. Talking of confidence - it certainly shows what that can do. I sincerely hope we keep Monkhouse & it would be nice to keep Duffy as well although there appears other clubs are now taking notice of him.

On the way back the southbound A1 was shut & we had to go through Peterborough - oh the irony!
