Pools played their best football of the season today against a big, strong, physical unit who were very hard to break down. And we did it without star man Micky Nelson and top-scorer Jon Daly. Gary Liddle showed his versatility by slotting into Nelson's place and young Foley finally got a chance as sub and he ran them ragged for 10 minutes, creating Duffy's goal. Boland was awesome, Eifion had his best game in a Pools shirts for months, Sweeney was like the Duracell bunny, Monkhouse adds the balance, Clark was outstanding, Ritchie immense and Barron rock solid. On this form, we are chasing automatic promotion. We told you it was a marathon not a sprint!

Stats from the game:
Pools shots on: 9; Posh shots on: 3
Pools shots off: 12; Posh shots off: 2
Pools corners: 15; Posh corners: 1

clappp clappp clappp clappp clappp clappp clappp

The problem is you can't always get what you want all of the time, I once wanted an Armani suit but at the time was short of cash so I had to make do with a Burtons........

Agree with all the above. Special mention must go to our favourite reserve team player David Foley who scared them shitless when he came on. He could have had three with his shot that was inches over, the one that lead to the goal and then the one that was just wide. All that in 5 minutes, not bad.
