Brown did very well today, never stopped running just his final ball but that will come.
Couldn't pick a man of the match, all superb, but if I had to pick it would be Liddle, never put a foot wrong and we never missed Nelson at all.
For a player to play in so many positions and then do such a fine job at centre half deserves the applauds.
Well done Gary Liddle. clappp

Agreed. Liddle played like an old hand at the back and it was actually too easy for him. Boland was superb as well. As usual. clappp clappp

No complaints about an overall excellent performance from all concerned.
Would give man of the match to Boland personally but there you go.
Brown did get knocked off the ball a few times but then again who wouldnt against their ogre centre half? He seemed to do better when coming deep and running at them. Overall I think he did pretty good and just needs encouragement, not tossers criticising..that and to build up body strength.
Shame Foley only got five minutes though as his three shots in that time showed how effective he can be.

Was saying to ECG at half ime Foley should have been on for the last 1/2 hour - would have scared them to death

I too would be hard pressed to pick a MOM

brown worked his nuts off and made himself available for a ball in to feet time and time again. in addition to that he won far more headers than he was entitled to. i thought he had a good game. with two planks at the back it was good to see us knocking it about like brazil at times rather than launching long balls. dimi had clearly been told to throw short balls out to the defenders today so that we could keep possession. it was a joy to watch. a brilliant performance.

Well said that man

The people behind me in the Town End were also slagging him off. I didn't think he did badly. He wasn't amazing but he was ok. If I was him, I'd have been reasonably happy with my peformance.

Brown took a lot of stick from Morgan whose game plan was to kick him every time he got the ball
Brown stuck to the job valiantly

his skill on the ball was first class, twisting and turning in tight areas of the pitch and finding a team mate with the ball evry time. He ran his bollox off for the team, I find it incredible that anyone could criticise the lad yesterday. There really is no doubt that some people are stupid. Take no notice Browny lad
