An fantastic 3-0 win which will send all board members into a false optimism that we'll make the play-offs. Crowd = 3,333

Tranmere are not afraid of 'Pools, They're only afraid of the freezing cold and the Gale Force Winds, according to the Physio come Manager. The cheeky backstud says it's a horrible place to come to H'pool.

Pools for a clean sheet and a goal apiece for Boyd and Brown. Ey that goal the other weekl from the edge of the penalty area was how to do it.

Don't worry Mutters, 5-0 including James Brown's first Pools Hat trick.

The Pools game was on City Talk yesterday obviously being commented on from the Tranmere point of view which didn't make it any better. Pools got the goal and it was a very long second half. How much extra time was there, it seemed to go on for ever.

After suffering agonies I was absolutely delighted at full time and thought that at last they got the bit of luck and run of the green they deserve.

Well done Pools it was a bright spot in a good day.
