Good look to Scunthorpe tonight.

After hearing the Newcastle correspondent on Real Radio on the way the game say "it just doesn't seem right" that they are playing Scunthorpe I've just seen another extremely patronising item on Look North about the game. You are playing them because you are in the same division on merit you fooking divots

While I'm at it can I also say good luck to Derby against the Smog noncers.

I hope so hard it makes my eyes bleed that Newcastle and the borers stay in the Chumpionship ands stay there till realise, especially the mags, they are nobodies, who've been trading on 'potential' under the lunatic assumption it counts for anything. When they actually have the humility to see themselves for what they are, without the arrogance to look down on anybody, when they have achieved nothing for half a century, then, they can look others in the face.

newcastle are nobodies.... yeah right. notwithstanding their history, they are one of the best supported clubs in england. how many other clubs would get the crowds they are getting in the second divison ? no more than half a dozen.

to suggest their entire fan base is arrogant and looks down on the likes of pools is just utter shyte.

to suggest that a club that doesnt win a major trophy has achieved nothing is the kind of blinkered crap you would expect to hear from man utd fans. 95% of the teams in the football league have no chance of winning the premier league or f.a. cup this season, does that mean they have achieved nothing too ?

using your dumb logic we all might as well pack the game in apart from arsenal, chelse, liverpool and man united.

i know at least 2 newcastle season ticket holders from newcastle, that probably get to as many pools games as you do.

for someone who used to write for a living, do you not feel remotely ashamed of your pisspoor efforts on here ?

notwithstanding the fact your post doesn't even make sense, suggesting someone has used dumb logic hardly constitutes a personal attack . however, i fully agree with mr elvis when he points out that you bring absolutely nothing to this board bar puerile, dull, sexual innuendo, that frankly a 12 year old would be too mature to spout.

HTH.

Even better comment.

Got to agree with you on that one, when Keegan's Newcastle (first time around) was pushing for the title, and also Bobby Robson's, I would have given a big cheer for then winning the Premiership.

I'm glad Newcastle got beat and according to Poolie law we have to hate Darlo, Leeds, Carlisle, Boro, Newcastle, Sunderlad and the big 4.

I hope there are loads more threads about Newcastle getting beat over the next few weeks...

On the money again, Dibbs.

Good to know I am not the only one not to give a flying chuff about MAGS, MACKEMS or MOGGIES.

The personal stuff does nobody any credit either, and should be kept locked up until Sussex comes crawling back on after a night on the bleach.

I put the original point across that was fairly clear, I see no need to change it or defend it because Chip disagrees with my opinion.
Mind you, for someone who doesn't care about anyone but Pools, he got quite vocal in their defence, also, if they ever did win anything, don't kid yourself that clubs like Pools would suffer. Newcastle trade on hype. Because I care about Pools, I am quite happy to see them all struggle, it's a sharks market out there and anyone dumb enough to believe otherwise is not of this world, there are no gentlemen in football, just winners.

Surely by the nature of the game there are some winners, and a lot of losers in football.

I entirely agree that football isn't the home of gentlemen, more importantly it isn't the home of sportsmen and that my friend is what will bring it to it's knees in the end.

i doubt many gateshead fans despise pools and love it when we get beat. i doubt they think all pools fans are arrogant now we are in the first division. in fact i doubt they give us much thought at all.

newcastle are not in the same division as us, and probably never will be, so i dont really care too much how they are doing. however i do have a fair few mates that support newcastle, and none of them are arrogant condescending arseholes.

in all honesty i thought the most pleasing result last night was liverpool losing.
THAT'S BETTER ....Chip, you might have got your point over better by replying as above and not as in the original post by starting posts with an insult and reinforcing it at regular intervals throughout. I respond to reason, I don't respond to being categorised as dumb because I happen to have an opinon opposed to others, not the way to stimulate debate really is it?
As for patently stupid, i also talk to them too and the ones I talk to come over as deluded, ... to a man.

Just so you all know where i stand on this, i HATE Newcastle United, i LOVE IT when they get beat, and i LOVE taking the piss out of the great unwashed, or plastic mags, or pantomimers or whatever you want to call them, following 'their' teams failure. Not Genuine dyed in the wool Newcastle folk you understand, i refer to people of our own fair town sporting anything remotely associated with that god awful club.

this fella that runs the bnp once went to jail for denying that the nazis killed jews in concentration camps. he clearly isnt thick, far from it, but that particular statement was daft.

to state someone has made a dumb comment ( and suggesting everyone who supports the same football club thinks alike is in my opinion a dumb comment ) is not the same as stating that they are dumb.

Just three points....

1. You know exactly what I meant, end of.

2. Never associate me, even in vague comparison with the BNP.

3. Let's get down to things in the real world. You may indeed have some Newcastle supporting 'chums' who share the 'When Saturday Comes' global world vision that football is the answer to all the worlds socio economic ills and have an open view to all aspects of the game. However, the general attitude was confirmed to me listerning to a week of Century, aka Real Radio, Five Live and Talksport ...there is genuine disbelief, even shock, amongst the more unenelightened majority of their fans that they are playing the likes of Scunthorpe and the ultimate humiliation is to be 'entertaining' Doncaster on Saturday. Whilst the likes of Bobby Robson wouldn't have given it a second thought, the fans have been gentrified by the Premiership and demand the 'best' ....assuming they were the best. As for the fan base, Primark gets more than Harrods, but we all know where the class is.

Exactly my thoughts when I started the thread, the Real Radio bloke actually said;

"I can't believe I'm going to watch Newcastle in a league game at Scunthorpe, it just doesn't seem right". Look North might as well have patted Scunthorpe on the head and said "awww bless" it was that fooking patronising.

Before Sir John Hall Newcastle were playing in the Championship in front of Boro like crowds. I remember going to a game (Pools was off, honest) at Sid James's in the early nineties in the league against Port Vale, I was among 11,000 others and it was on a Saturday. Now after a period in the Premiership a monster has been spawned and the thousands of sheep who joined the flock think they have some sort of divine right. I have nothing against Newcastle as a club or City, just the bandwagon jumping rarfs who follow them from all over the North East. I wonder how many of them were at that Port Vale match?

About 11,000 of them, you said, don't you remember?
