Someone in the Echo yesterday was trying to get re-united with his friend Jackie Smith, who was born in Hartlepool in 1936 and played for Pools before his National Service with the DLI.

Was wondering if Katcha or anyone had info? If so, the guy would like to be contacted. He's Harry Dinsdale - 01325-359444.

Jackie played with Ken Johnson and I'm fairly sure Ken still knows of his whereabouts. I've got a feeling he has some affiliation with Swindon these days and came up for the game a couple of seasons ago. I think I read all this in the programme but I may have dreamt it.

I've emailed Mark at the club to get a message passed to Ken Johnson. Cos I is a nice guy.
