Any decent pubs in Taunton?

On Monday I have to get the train to Taunton to fit a till system in a shop in the town centre. If all goes to plan I'll be done by about 2pm, giving me a couple of free hours before the train home.

Does anyone know of any decent pubs in the town centre where I can kill an hour or two? Ones that do a good range of cask ales are my favourite.

Sounds like you need a copy of the Good Beer Guide.

I've got the Good Pub Guide and there are only 2 recommended in Taunton...one the Hankridge Arms, near Sainsbury's, just off J25. and the Vivary Arms on Wilton Street.

Any decent pubs in Taunton?
