"He hasn't got a clue"

"Give him a chance"

"He's shite"

"No he isn't"

Yesterday was the most convincing game for me as far as Wilson goes, after Nelson went off he got things dead right with the way he rearranged the team.

I have to say that overall he comes across as a confident bloke in interviews, and he didn't over react like us supporters to p!$$ poor performances earlier this season. He has given the full squad a chance and came to the same conclusions as everyone else- mostly the nucleus of a promotion-winning side is there but we needed a left-sided player who can play football, and a striker who can be put in the side to relieve the pressure from the shoulders of the younger players. He is fulfilling his objectives one step at a time, and changing the shape and style of the team along the way. I had my grave doubts, but he has won me over I have to say.

To me he seems to be working on the principle - get the defence right first & the rest will follow, may well however have future plans regarding the rest of the team (we are scoring goals now, which we weren't early in the season for example). At present we haven't conceded in 6 games so it seems to be working, not PARTICULARLY exciting to watch, but I'll take 3 points over excitement any day of the week & twice on Sundays

After 25 years it gets in the blood John

Not a bad philosophy though, if we don't concede we can't get beat clappp

With a bit of activity in the transfer window, we could, and lets face it, should, be looking at promotion.

We are looking at promotion. The only transfer activity we should be aiming for is to sign our loanees permanently.

If we can't, well that's a different story to which I don't know the ending.
