The Referee.

Last season he found out on new years eve his wife had lukemia, the next day he was referee for Hartlepool v Stoke.

This season he found out he had cancer, the next day he then was referee for Everton v Arsenal.

Shows some courage that man.

Best of luck in your recovery.

In a society where so many people don't need a second excuse to get time off work that is commendable and fair play to him.

I went to a talk in once which he was doing shortly afted he reffed the Gillingham vs Man City play off game (where Man City scored twice in injury time and there were complaints he played too much injury time to favour the bigger team...) and he spoke really well and seemed like a decent bloke. Hope they both make a full recovery.

Hope he gets better soon. Always does seem like a decent bloke and I hope for footballs sake that if he gives a debatable penalty etc against someone then they dont start a sick chant towards him.

For fucks sake, I hope fans aren't complete animals. That would be disgusting beyond belief if they did.
