Some stupid women from BBC has said they should start charging for the iplayer, up to as much as £2 per show. She needs her head looking at the only reason its so popular as its free.

So you could still watch a programme on the iPlayer website, say wherever, and you wouldn't have to do anything else to watch it but click on the Play button?

Whoever this woman is has a valid point. The time is coming when media corporations are going to charge for their news and entertainment content.

The BBC is an amazing channel. Take a look at some of the programmes it produces, well worth the licence fee, and more. It's the envy of the world.

No the bbc uses software to make sure your in the uk when your playing i-player so if you have an american or any other foreign ip address it wont let you play it.
You just have to figure out a way to trick it into thinking your in the uk
