Can some one please tell me which of our players jumped out of the way of that long range shot on Saturday that was the goal against.
I was not there and have only seen the goal on the BBC Sport webpage. To me it looks like a wussy jump out of the way, where as a foot in or block would probably have stoped the goal from being scored.
Its not been mentioned in any of the discussions since the game and my immediate reaction was disapointed/disgusted, if you were there please put me right and explain it as it looked real time.

I doubt anyone jumped out of the way, it went all along the deck almost. Maybe someone jumped block a shot that was higher and it went underneath them.

One of the defenders turned their back on the shot but i would hardly call that jumping out of the way (someone looking for their next booing victim next home game) , couldn't quite make out who it was but their player had far to much space in the midfield leading up to the shot.

Player turning back is Liddle.

Yeah your right, "turned his back" is a better description, but I still can't understand from viewing the replay why he turned his back rather than put his foot out to block. Any way poor defending - whats done is done.
I aint ever gonna Boo a Pools player - well maybe except Kyle, um! Fogan, Parker, Beach no can't even bring myself to dis them.
