That fire engine should have slowed down when approaching that junction, he looked like he was flying along, id have been pretty pissed off if that was my car

so if your house was on fire you would want fireman sam to drive like he was on his test would you
the car approaching the lights from this side obviously heard the fire engine as he slowed to a stop
the one that got hit by the engine ignored the sirens

after all simon snorkel was following and they dont attend unless it is more than a simple fire

It not an aeriel appliance following (snorkel as no6 put it) it's a second pump, so attending a report of a possible house fire/residential home. They not attending a simple rubbish fire.

We all know it's attending an emergency, but even so, a bit of pressure on the brakes to cover the unexpected doesn't go amiss, blue lights or not, it's common sense, especially with a pump that's going to be unstable due to it's water load.
