What is there to do in the north east on a weekend?

I'm after summit like a comedy club, decent gig, that type of thing.

Summit for next Friday / Saturday ideally to take the mrs too for her birthday, sick of just 'going for a meal', can do that anytime.

Any suggestions welcome, though i'm not sure she'd fancy a folk night or a ska band at the studio, no offence like.

Go snobbing it in the White House and then go down Church Street for a good pagger, Treat her to some Jimmy Choo steelies and a Louis Vuiton Stanley knife. Tell her Victoria Beckham is advertising them.

You won't need trousers for weeks. clappp clappp

Anything else? Anyone?

At this rate it'll just be a meal.

You could try the Gala in Durham...it does various comedy nights. The bairn goes to their Comedy Store but that's only monthly and you've missed this month's.
However...there's somebody called Adam Hills on this Friday, apparently played the Edinburgh Fringe this year (is that good or bad?).

Also, for anyone who's interested, Reginald D Hunter is at the Gala in November....always pretty funny on HIGNFY.

I can't make pools on saturday games as 95% of the time i will be seeing my 3year old daughter, and new born aswell.

So make as many jokes as you like about not going mr snowy but thats the reason, like it or not.

Salty i will look on that myspace tonight and see what the sound is like, if i like it we'll come.

I've never seen him, but apparently he has two legs but only one foot. This must be why Salty was being overlooked....it's boring to have too many digits.

I'm sure that you've lifted them over the turnstyle when they were little.
