I think so.

I must say I was never a massive fan of Ritchie Barker and I think Behan has a LOT more promise. Even if Behan does not score that many goals I think he will be a legend.

This could hopefully be exactly what Boydie needs too, he probably thought he'd come back and be first choice again. Turner likes playing with a big man so either him or the Icelandic guy will always feature heavily and he's not in the same league as Brownie. These are all thoughts that should be going through Boydys brain.

I like him but he's never been prolific anywhere else has he? To be fair to Boyd he ran his socks off when he came on, maybe he realises already? Problem is, if Boyd's on form can you drop Brown? I'd be interested to see if Brown and Boyd could build up a partnership too because the prospect of them two at their best together is mouth watering!
The squad might take a while to gel but this could be an exciting season.

All of these are different players with different assets. Richie Barker was maybe better in the air than Behan and Newton especially when facing towards goal. Behan has the confidence to shoot from almost anywhere - the only other centre-forward I can recall who would shoot from such unusual angles was Gordon Watson. I read somewhere that he did this to catch the goalkeeper off guard. Bob Newton was a bustling, aggressive forward who made strong runs knocking all and sundry out of his way in the process - I always thought he was similar to Malcolm MacDonald in the way he played.

Newton and Watson were great players to watch - if Behan can continue to improve his game and not have too many repeats of the Norwich performance then I'm sure he can achieve similar cult status.
