My dad did that many many years ago. I was a little kid and I remember him ripping the bedroom to bits trying to find out where he'd hid it. My mam would have had it spent if she had found it. He blamed her for a few years until one day they were stripping the wallpaper off and he found it. He had peeled back a bit of the paper behind the wardrobe and created a pocket in it. He was too pissed to remember.

Check the bogs. When you're busting to go you're liable to plonk your stuff down anywhere.

I did exactly the same on Friday afternoon, after work (i.e got home pissed and potless) Although I've a good idea where it went, my wad that is.

Then yesterday I went out and spent about £60 on booze, at the supermarket. It's frightening how much there is, you could kill yourself drinking that amount (well eventually)

I think I know where the missing cash has gone, I saw the dog looking very pleased earlier with one of these round his neck

It'll be between a couple of CDs in your rack or else in a book somewhere.

Give us a bell about March if it hasn't turned up.

that reminds me of a customer i used to have
when his kids asked for money he used to say
"go and give Margo a fumble"
the point being he kept his loose cash in the Margo Fonteyn biography
