Is the defence that bad?

On the bench you mean nothing wrong with the back 4

No but he would be a good back up for collins if he is injured/suspended, we cant have enough centre halfs.

You my have noticed we are a bit light like! rolf

What if he's better than Collins, who lets be honest is no more than a very honest but average lower league centre back?

He would improve the team, just because we've shown signs that we are going to be more solid at the back this season we can't rest on our laurels. I witnessed individual errors that cost us from members of our back four only last Tuesday. If we'd have had someone like ALB in goal we could have leaked three or four in the first half.

We are looking better defensively but you can't waste any opportunity to strengthen.

I somehow doubt he would be coming to sit on the bench.

We'll have to learn how to spell it correctly.

Armann Samara Bjornsson.

Or like Dimi, just go for Armi.

Might he match Ambrose Fogarty's record?

More detail on this signing, seems the owner of larsen oil & gas played some part in the deal.

According to that article, and the limited norweigen i speak...

The guy from larsen oil and gas, said get yourself over to hartlepool, church street is ellish, the parmo's from tasty bites are lush, and as for the birds, they don't come any easier than hartlepool birds.

He was on the next flight over...

The English league 1 club is owned by Bergen "Berge Gerdt Larsen, who is heavily involved in the oil industry.

The financier, who in the tax lists were constructed with 384 million in assets in 2007, has close links to Branns board member and old back Lars Moldestad, owner of oil firm Larsen Oil & Gas.

Now contact their resulted in the PLACE OF DEATH ends in Hartlepool, the club that no less than eight Norwegians have visited previously.

Will be anonymous: - It has been that way, yes, confirms sports director Roald Bruun-Hanssen to BA.

The main character, however, will not make a big point out of the case when BA confronts him with the information.

- I do not really have any comment on these things, but that Hartlepool is a club that we have interests in and that they have found Ármann of Fire. Beyond that, this is a relationship between the clubs, "says Lars Moldestad.

The Icelandic power striker got on a flight to England yesterday morning. There, he conducted the medical test, and personally negotiated the contract.

In RISING SALARIES: According Olafur Gardarsson, which is Björnsson agent, he will sign a two year contract with option for another year if all the details fall into place.

- Ármann did well in the fire, and will miss Bergen, but now he gets a second chance. He is very happy with, "says the agent.

- How is the wage conditions of the English league-1 compared with the Norwegian league?

- Much better. Or, I should perhaps not say much, but they are significantly better, respond Gardarsson.

Björnsson would Bosman player after this season, but the fire will still have made a useful deal.

- With this in mind the situation we have at least gotten a good deal of fire. We also hope it is a good choice for Ármann. He has been a faithful servant and a great person to have to do, "says Roald Bruun-Hanssen.

Sounds like Turner sees him more as a striker than centre back in todays Mail. That is some strikeforce we now have of him Boy, Brown, Behan and Larkin.

This must be the most depth to a squad we have ever had?

I wouldnt want to be a defender up against Behan and the Iceman  clappp

This morning went PLACE OF DEATH to England to finalize the transition to Hartlepool.

Kristjan Örn Sigurdsson said the 28-year-old power head has all the prerequisites in order to succeed at level three in the English league system.
I do not know much about the English 1 divisjon (league-1), but I think he can be a good player for them if he gets to play. He has really everything: he is big, strong and fast, "said Kristjan Örn Sigurdsson to BA.

Björnsson first choice was to extend the contract with the Fire, but Steinar Nilsen has until Hartlepool arrived on the scene were unable to say whether the Icelander appeared in his future plans.

Fire the coach looks the other hand, do not ignore the possibility that Björnsson is a hit in the power-hungry football normally played on the lower level in England.
I think soon he could make it awesome. The only question is whether he is tough NOK against himself, if he has "killer instinct" that is needed. But at his best, he has clearly features so he can succeed, says Steinar Nilsen.

Armann Björnsson was pleased that the transition to Hartlepool finally went right.

For both the Icelander and Fire have been waiting for confirmation that came in the evening. . Red Royen had agreed a price for the player the same day that they met with Odd Grenland in the cup. A few days later, Björnsson agree with the English club. But the signature and the medical test is required.

After several weeks back and forth, he signed today a two-year contract with the club.

I am very happy for this. Now I know what to do for the next two years. This is a decision I have taken alone, and it is given no signs of fire if they did not want to extend my contract anyway, "says the Icelander.

He has been a loyal player - despite little playing time.

I have enjoyed very good in the Fire and Bergen. It will be sad to leave the city. At the same time, I am glad that this finally went right, "he says.

Yesterday he saw his new team play in the League Cup against Burley. On Tuesday he takes the rest of the family and move to England.
