"The Damned United" film...damned good I thought !

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LYzsswqPk6s Just watched "The Damned United" film and it's quite good. Colm Meaney is the spit of Don Revie and Michael Sheen made a good job of playing Cloughie. The bloke playing Billy Bremner was clearly wearing a bad wig mind! Hartlepool got four mentions in the film too !

I haven't seen it yet. I was going to see it at the cinema when it first came out but I thought I'd get the DVD instead.

To be honest, I'd never thought I'd see the day - a film made about an ex-Hartlepool United manager.

I know it's about Clough's time at Leeds, but....

Well, I see where you're coming from there. They'll probably do a film about Sir Bobby Robson at some point.

yes a film about bobby robson when they won the fa cup,if it shows them playing pools on the way to wembley,i think russell crowe can play me :laugh:

Indeed it is, it feels as if it was written as one tries to read when pissed, with one eye open and missing a few pages at a go
