with regard to trying to ban these "legal highs", why are people taking the bait when the government are saying it is going to ban formulations of weed and ecstasy alternatives. The current ones such as BZP and spice (ecstasy and weeb alternatives) can be band but anyone with a little knowledge of Biomedical science knows that they can only ban the formaulations of the drug (ie chemical formulas and structure) thats how heroin, cocaine etc are band by there formulation.

Anyone who knows how to "cook" or half a brain knows all you need to do is stick a couple of oxides onto the formula and it will have the same effects but will not be classified as banned. People fall for this clap trap by the government saying they will ban them all, how exactly its like saying we are going to ban fillum clips on the internet they can do it for one site but in about a day another will pop up.

'Legal highs' are just a money spinner for stall holders to fleece gullible students at festivals anyway.

I have heard toxicologists saying that if anyone is going to do drugs then they should do illegal ones as the health service has over 20+ years experience with these when these new legal ones the effects arnt really known.

The experts have 100 years of dealing with grenade wounds, but I'm not about about to tie a grenade to my privates to find out. what sort of reasoning is that, are you on drugs?

Quite franky I'm more concerned about them saying that they can sort out Afganistan, the economy, health service, education and many other things to worrry about some stupid kids taking dodgy substances..

Smoke and mirrors boys smoke and mirrors..

Snowy putting a witty analogy into every post isn’t a necessity you know. I was just making a point that the government are claiming to be dealing with a problem that they cant solve that’s it. Like what Pierrepoint said its all smoke and mirrors.

Yeah and potentially illegal drugs are more "safe" if thats the correct way of putting it.

Compo, putting a tedious post about the thrill seeking habits of the acne squad, long winded chemical theses and the government's ineptitude at stopping people whose lives are as empty as your boxer shorts, that they have to indulge in imbibing roasted cabbage leaves and proclaim they've seen the answer to life itself is the sort of thing that deserves an analogy, get used to it, it aint gonna stop.
