As Manchester Utd are the current World Club Champions and were recently beaten by Burnley.....does this mean that if tommorow we beat the aforementioned Burnley, we will be the undisputed world champions and officially best team in the world? Bar none.

We'd have beaten Barcelona in May so I reckon we can class ourselves as the champions of Europe as well.

We are signing Romario to celebrate if we win so he can score his 1002nd and 1003rd goals.

What do you mean IF.

History is on our side, we've never lost to Burnley at home.

Then again.......until Saturday we had never won at Preistfield.

We even beat them in same competition at home in 2000, with TIM SPERREVIK in the team.

we have lost to them once at the Vic, 2-0 in a LDV game - their only win here!!! Ditto we have only one win there - 1-0 in the CCC a couple of years back!!!

As I said to POK never trust the BBC website, I think I'll stick to my own advice. A crowd of 921 in 1996.

Another encouraging stat (sort of)

We've lost our last four home games. This is the tenth time we've done that, but in every one of the other nine we have avoided defeat in our next home game. So our home form is in our favour. Hooray  :uhoh:

So what you are saying is basically if we lose tonight it's our worst run of home form ever

Sorry Mr Hodcroft I won't be there tonight as I'm in London on business. sadx

It' sods law that we will beat Burnley tonight and Mr No6 bus will call me an Albatross as I've been too both home games so far and seen us get beat. I blame the referee against Bristol Rovers, the term referee is used to loosely describe a man in a black kit.

I will return for Norwich on Saturday when hopefully their injury list will be excessive and Micheal Nelson will play.

Good luck for tonight 'Pools.

See that. It was as if I've got Psychic powers. I knew Mr No6 bus would call me an Albatross.

Text me the score please I don't have Sky Sports News in my very expensive hotel.

But the "Spitfire" ale is making up for it.
