How many more are going to be killed on patrol in Afghanistan?

Whilst not wanting to criticise, it seems that they Taliban seem to know where and when they going to be patrolling and laying these improvised devices.

Far from a fookin expert, but surely there's another way. These guys are losing their lifes and they're not even making contact.

Seems pointless.
