Notts County are going to become the Man City of the lower divisions. Yes, I am jealous. If Sven was to get them up to the premier league without spending ridiculous sums of money then fair enough but if they are going to sign players of that sort of value you cant but help but hope they fail.

If they have so much money they can buy any team they will go up.
I reckon that would make it no fun. OK so Man City are doing it and its almost embarassing, Tevez, that Villa midfielder, really good Brazillians etc etc. If we suddenly got an Arab onboard and they bought Man Utd's reserves or Birminghams first team would it be fun to win or a bit of a dull disapointment. A bit like Leeds might feel winning'ish with loads more money then the teams they are playing/losing against.
I recvkon City fans are probably over the honeymoon period and embarassed/bored now.

Much more fun watching CT building a team and hoping it goes right.

Spot on, it would be very boring and tedious expecting to win every week, i'm looking forward to the rest of this season with an almost POKish sense of optimism.
