Probably another stupid name from America!!!! :evil: :roll:

To me their has only been 3 types of 'Ska'!!!!

1. Original Ska - late 50's to Mid 60's!!!!

2. Ska Revival - 2-Tone era

3. Third Wave Ska - 1986 to present day!!!!

The Yanks call 3rd Wave Ska from 1990....cos that's when the Yank bands came on the scene in a big way!!!! :roll:

Ive had myself a little scout about & I think its an English term to categorise music that sings about London & has a bit of a reggae sound,in other words a made up genre to slot Lily Allen into.
