Steals Healey from under our noses, and doesn't even include him in their first 18 today. rage

It was as we all expected though wasn't it, money talks and he would rather sit on Ipswich's bench (or as per today not even there) than be the captain and focal point of another team slightly lower down ie us. What a shame!!!

A prime example of why teams in the lower leagues struggle financially.

Bigger club buys a player that they don't really need and pays them a wage possibly above what is average (no salary cap in the Championship). The player finds that a year down the line he's made a mistake in signing and wants to move to get regular football.

Problem is the teams who can offer the regular football then have to push themselves to be able to afford the sort of wages the player demands. the player then spends another season on loan at various clubs - and only then does a permanent move happen.

That player then has lost two years of his footballing life, and may never reach the level that he should.

I read that Keane took the players away to an army assault course on a toughening up mission and Healey got blisters which have become infected.
