Nelson - Woeful, didn't win a header, ran about like a headless chicken and rarely stuck a foot in. Also looked very one footed - 2

(taken from Norwich forum, like)

I won't go through the whole team but I'll mention those that did well. Fredriksen was for me the best player on the pitch, excellent positional play, passed well & tackled well, if he can keep up that form he'll be a star player. Flinders was very good in goal, safe handling, saved a few good goalbound shots, spoke to his defence and good distribution - much better than I expected and gave the defence confidence.
Liddle did well at centre half, much improved on many of his performances last season, his style of play complimented Collins, who also had a good game. Collins long throws caused problems for the MK defence and until Brown came on were our most attacking moves into their box. On this showing Clark will have difficulties getting back into the team. Sweeney was his usual self, full of good running and also helped out in defence.
McSweeney was steady, nothing spectacular but a big improvement on some of the players we had on loan in the second half of last season. Some good touches by Monkhouse and I was impressed in how he came back to cover in defence when required.
Hartley & Haslam were steady, Hartley's distribution was not the best, hopefully that will improve, Haslam looked confident unless Puncheon was running against him, I think most defenders would have a tough time against Puncheon at this level - he always does well when I've seen him play against us.
Ritchie Jones did ok, again nothing spectacular and he didn't look as motivated as I would have liked. Behan, missed a good opportunity following a good move when he missed his shot completely, from the edge of the area and as a target man did not win many headers, otherwise worked hard with little reward, I thought his best work was when he dropped back to help in midfield.
Brown came on for the last half hour (in place of Jones), took some time to get the pace but by the end was creating good opportunities and showing good skills.

All in all a good confidence inspiring result against a team fancied to do well in this division. When Boyd & Brown are fully fit to add some flair and Austin is in defence I am quietly confident that we will do ok this season. (By ok I mean at least mid table).

Just realised that I have gone through the whole team :uhoh:

Anyone know who the sub keeper Thomas is - youth team keeper? Seemed very young. What happened to Cook?

That would explain it then. Thomas looked very young and short, but he probably is very young and still growing.

He did ok, nothing flash. Got done a few times off who i thought was MK's most dangerous player the number 10, but he stuck to it and kept going.
